State election law “Trumps” Portland anti-Donald resolution

The resolution initially included wording that said Trump wasn’t welcome in the city, but that was omitted before Wednesday’s vote after it drew much criticism, including an editorial from the Star Tribune that said a “not welcome” declaration against the Republican went too far.

His first impression of Trump was that he was afraid of him. “Not just the ones who have killed, but ALL MUSLIMS”, Moore wrote.

Moore ended his missive with a call for readers to sign a “We Are All Muslim” letter (found on his website) and then post a photo of themselves on social media sites with a sign and a similar hashtag declaration.

“Just as we are all Mexican, we are all Catholic and Jewish and white and black and every shade in between”.

He called on his colleagues to not tolerate what he called Trump’s bigotry.

A Scottish Government spokeswoman said: ‘Mr Trump’s recent remarks have shown that he is no longer fit to be a business ambassador for Scotland and the First Minister has decided his membership of the respected GlobalScot business network should be withdrawn with immediate effect’. “Now, they can say, ‘Hey, here’s a guy who might be the next president of the United States who’s anti-Muslim'”. But he said: “People like what I say”. He also has a plan for building a wall in the south to keep illegal migrants out.

However, judges ruled against the billionaire businessman’s objections to the project, a joint venture by Vattenfall Wind Power and Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group, which says the turbines would yield enough electricity to power 68,000 United Kingdom households over a year.

He said he didn’t understand why the crowd would object to infiltrating terrorists’ conversations.

Although city leaders clearly took aim at Trump, the City Council softened its position to make sure city staff did not run afoul of state elections law by politically advocating against the 2016 Republican frontrunner.

“They’re trying to convince everyone in Islam that it’s ‘us against Christianity.’ They want to boil it down to that”, said Rather.
