CBI being asked to target opposition: Arvind Kejriwal
“Modi is a coward and psychopath”, he said, sparking an angry condemnation from a furious BJP which demanded an apology from the Chief Minister for his “disgraceful” remarks.

” I am warning you Modiji! Tomorrow, if my own son is found guilty of corruption, I will send him to jail as well”.
Kejriwal also tweeted that documents seized from his office had “no relation” to allegations against his principal secretary Rajender Gupta, which, the CBI had said, was the reason for the raids at the Delhi Secretariat on Tuesday.
Without any government tendering process, Rajendra, who was then working as chairman of Delhi Transco Limited, allegedly facilitated an award of contract worth Rs.40.16 lakh to Endeavour Systems for the development of a comprehensive management information system in 2009, the official said.
On Wednesday, Phoolka had described CBI’s action against Kumar as “politically motivated” and said his client was being made a “scape goat”.
“The CBI emphatically denies having searched the office of the Delhi chief minister”.
Meanwhile, CBI confronted Rajendra Kumar with R S Kaushik and MD Dinesh Kumar of ECIL to understand how tenders were tweaked to favour the company.
“It has become necessary to reveal that why did the CBI come to my office today and which was the file they were looking for”.
The CM also launched a fresh attack on Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, saying he had “misled” Parliament by saying that the CBI did not raid the Chief Minister’s office.
“They wanted the file of DDCA…” The members of AAP had earlier convened a meeting in Sisodia’s residence to discuss the issue.
Congress and AAP are demanding Jaitley’s resignation over alleged “gross financial irregularities” in Delhi’s cricket body DDCA when he headed it from 1999 to 2013. “Rajender is an excuse”.
“CBI raids my office”. Raids were also conducted at other places in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh, sources added.
“Searching files at the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and taking some of the files in their custody on Monday evening – what does it all signify?” he asked.
Yesterday, the AAP and BJP were locked in a bitter war with Kejriwal seeking Jaitley’s resignation for corruption and the latter accusing the AAP leader of spreading untruth and falsehood. The agency, however, did not manage to get any file related to the graft charges from Kumar’s office.
The CBI raids on the Delhi Secretariat have sparked an all-out war between the Delhi government and the Centre. “We urge you that refer this case to appropriate investigating agency”, TI’s letter to the chief minister, dated May 27, 2015, had said. “I am shocked”, West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee tweeted.
