While Kejriwal said the Union Minister must resign or should be sacked, the BJP and the Central government said that he won’t be resigning as he had done nothing wrong.
Despite repeated queries on the alleged benefits, if at all, received by Kumar for purportedly favouring a software firm, CBI sources limited themselves to saying that the owners of the firm had worked with Kumar “at some point of time”. “I have always told him that “you should have people with strong character around you”. It is absurd that you make allegations against the Finance Minister of India.
