Salvation Army requests nearly doubled this Christmas Season

However, with more families in need of everyday help, the Salvation Army Central Okanagan is behind $325,000 in meeting its fundraising goal of $700,000.
The Salvation Army for Lee and Collier counties begin to distribute toys for its Christmas Cheer program.
“This is definitely a Christmas surprise”, Lt. John Morrow, Salvation Army of Roseville Corps officer said.
Not only does the Salvation Army help families have a brighter christmas, but they also help children in the county to have a brighter future. “She shared that these belonged to her husband and when he passed away she was trying to decide what to do with them and she chose to give them to The Salvation Army so we can help other people”.
It also pushed the campaign to $408,612, which is 46 percent of its goal of $874,000, said Major Jack Holloway.
