Kate Middleton, Prince William, Princess Charlotte and her big brother are all smiles for the Duke and Duchess’s holiday card, which was photographed at Kensington Palace in October by Chris Jelf. We think this choice keeps the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on track for their wishes to give Georgie and Princess Charlotte as normal of an upbringing as possible.
The photo comes as the palace announced that 2-year-old George will start attending Westacre Montessori School Nursery in Norfolk in the east of the country before the end of January. That means adorable private school uniform photos are in our future, folks!
The Daily Mail writes that other guests included Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall; Princess Eugenie; Zara and Mike Tindall and their not-quite-two-year-old daughter Mia; and Peter and Autumn Phillips. But he noted, “You have to be sharp, as you don’t have long when there are two young children involved”.
Prince William and Kate also released another official photograph of their family of four to mark the announcement.
The nursery says it looks forward to welcoming George.
William and Kate, both 33, are fiercely protective of their children’s privacy and have imposed a no-fly zone over Anmer Hall.

“Most nurseries invite new starters to play with a parent, and then on their own, a few times, before their first day at nursery”.
