Week fifteen of the 2015 season is nearly upon us and for the New York Jets, that means a trip to Dallas to take on the struggling 4-9 Dallas Cowboys.
Perhaps it took a change at the top for them to turn a corner. So much for winning just a game or two, right? The Green Bay Packers smoked the Cowboys on Sunday and I’m not that willing to say that the Jets couldn’t beat the Packers.
However, you won’t get that message from owner and general manager Jerry Jones, who staunchly insists that the season isn’t lost, despite realizing that time is very short for that belief to remain viable in any way. Despite starting the year 2-0, collarbone injuries to Tony Romo has caused the Cowboys to rapidly decline. Either way, Moore is ready to go, which is good news for the Cowboys because they could use a spark to finish out this horrific season. The Jets are much more likely to make the postseason than the Cowboys, but Saturday’s game is imperative for NY to have, even though they now hold a playoff berth. His quarterback rating is a low 73.5 and he has five touchdowns and six interceptions in seven games.
“I think as a fan of football and someone who’s been around football my whole life, I have an affinity for him”, said Dallas coach Jason Garrett, who was a quarterback at Princeton about 15 years before Fitzpatrick was at Harvard. He’s a tough guy.

Since coming back from his broken foot, Dez Bryant has looked nothing like the No. 1 wide receiver that the Cowboys thought he would be. The Cowboys should fall into the wheelhouse of a team that the Jets can handle, and NY should come away with a road win and cover in this one.
“He’s so athletic, and he does enough that at 90 percent, he’s better than 90 percent of the receivers”, Bowles said of Bryant. Marshall has 89 catches, five shy of breaking Al Toon’s franchise record. Veteran RB Darren McFadden, who has a shot at a 1,000-yard season, has been a virtual one-man offense. Revis did not seem all that excited about his matchup with Bryant when he spoke to reporters Thursday.
His one outlier performance against the Philadelphia Eagles notwithstanding, Bryant has posted only one other outing over 10 standard fantasy points this year.
“So the makeup of the guys on our football team is outstanding”, Garrett said.

CHASING 1,000: NY running back Chris Ivory needs 86 yards for his first 1,000-yard season in his sixth year. He already has a career-high with 25 touchdown passes, and he’s nearly thrown for as many yards as Aaron Rodgers.
