Star Wars costumes flying off the shelves before premiere
“We’re a worldwide group of fans that volunteer our time for charities in professional “Star Wars” costumes”, said Chip Childress of Monticello, aka Sith Lord 9965. A storm trooper, who is actually Paul Gerard, 49, has tickets to see it three times, but, he said, he doesn’t plan to dress up – it’s too hard to do in the rain.

There’s also some weird stuff involving a prophecy about a “Chosen One” and Anakin possibly being the product of immaculate conception, but for most audiences, it’s enough to know that Anakin’s turning to the Dark Side was motivated, however misguidedly, by love for Natalie Portman’s Padme.
Even Champaign’s Art Theater looked into showing the older “Star Wars” movies. I won’t go into the gritty details, but she’s taken to it like a true champ, with only one minor accident that was really more of the “took too long to get the trousers off” than “oops, forgot I wasn’t in a diaper” variety.

He’s been counting down the days until the new movie opens since October 30, 2012, the day Disney bought the rights from its creator, George Lucas.
“I think it was something that took off after that first week”, he said.
The next day we watched Empire and that went just as well. The warm glow of Christmas bends around the corner of the hall, and you follow it, believing the holiday and its flickering decorations will provide a reprieve from Star Wars mania. So I’m looking forward to that aspect of it. And I’m really looking forward to seeing all the new characters and the armor and everything.it’s going to be great, especially for us who enjoy building these costumes.
Perkins said that when he does get to see the show, it will bring back memories. It’s a place we want to continue to visit.

Return of the Jedi was a triumphant end to a great film series and fans sadly waved goodbye to some of the cinema’s most iconic characters. It’s even bigger than you think. I’m probably most like Obi Wan, to tell you the truth. But we’re looking forward to the new one. Why, even the best fight is just an old-fashioned duel, for all that the swords have laser beams for blades.
