Peru Community Church announces Christmas, other services

Christmas morning will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 25 with a 10 a.m., worship service.

The Bucyrus United Methodist Church host Christmas Eve service at 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on December 24 at the Bucyrus UMC Worship Center, 227 Walnut St. These are some of the services that will held in St. Bernard parish. Worship on Christmas Eve is a family-friendly, spiritual, candlelit service of classic carols, reading of the Christmas story, and unison raising of our votives to Silent Night.

Faith Baptist Church, located at 204 Ricks Road in Selma, will hold its Christmas cantata and children’s program at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20, at the church.

On Christmas Day, the 10 a.m. service, held in the chapel, reaffirms the birth of Christ.

At 7 and 9 p.m there will be Candle Lighting services.

This is the church’s seventh worship service to acknowledge that Christmas and the holidays can be hard.

Riverside Lutheran Church and New Hope Community Church will hold a combined Christmas Eve candlelight service at 5 p.m. Thursday at 1817 Riverside Blvd.

On Sunday, Dec. 27 one service will be held in the sanctuary at 10 a.m.

Saint Constantine and Helen Christian Orthodox Church, 1101 1st Ave.

This Sunday during Worship, Community Church in Short Hills invites families to participate in its annual Christmas Pageant.

West Washington United Methodist Church, 625 Fayette St., Washington – Candlelight service begins at 6 p.m. Special music will be provided by Leah Falvo, Savannah Garner and Avery Nutter.
