Former Chelsea assistant manager Ray Wilkins believes Guus Hiddink is the ideal man to replace Jose Mourinho at Stamford Bridge.

Wearing handcuffs and beige T-shirt, Marquez appeared in federal court in Riverside, California for a brief hearing on Thursday. Apparently it was a marriage of convenience , and a sham in order to get the woman in question American citizenship.
Chelsea have not yet confirmed Jose Mourinho’s successor, but the Socceroos posted a congratulatory message to Hiddink on social media before later deleting it.

The Blues qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League last week, and will host Sunderland on Saturday. Meanwhile, Chelsea captain John Terry has described Mourinho’s exit after 30 months in charge as a “sad, sad day”.
English football champions Chelsea’s captain John Terry has paid an emotional tribute to outgoing coach Jose Mourinho, terming him “the very best I have ever worked with”. Chelsea’s sacking of Mourinho came after his ninth loss this season within 16 league games, the most recent being against 2-1leaders Leicester city and the past 0-1defeat against A.F.C. Bournemouth, which ranks high this season.
The Blues sit just a point above the relegation zone after an incredibly poor run of league form, that has led to accusations of player unrest and amid the continued fallout of club medic Dr Eva Carneiro’s acrimonious exit.
“His three league titles, FA Cup, Community Shield and three League Cup wins over two spells make him the most successful manager in our 110-year history”.
Chelsea owner, Roman Abramovich told the football club’s players on Friday afternoon that he never meant to sack Jose Mourinho, while addressing them at their Cobham training ground.
“Any fan who loves the club or has any kind of affiliation to the club can understand that something needed to be done”.
Hiddink pledged to hear Chelsea’s offer in full before deciding whether to accept the challenge, suggesting first team coach Steve Holland could take charge of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Sunderland at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho ruffled feathers during his two spells at Stamford Bridge, occasionally getting under the skin of his rivals, but clearly he was a manager they enjoyed locking horns with.
“Make no mistake about it, the club is working vigorously and actively to make sure a managerial appointment is taken care of as soon as possible”.
In his final interview as Chelsea manager, filmed for BT Sport before his departure was announced, Mourinho said the team’s travails had been a useful experience.
Asked about the prospect of being in charge against Sunderland, he said: “The coaches will do that”.
“That would take them further down the league and it would be a huge success for us”.

“I think this decision is correct and Guus Hiddink is a great choice”.
