Two months after unveiling a crop of nominees, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has revealed the new class of inductees, which includes the classic rock band Deep Purple and rap group N.W.A.

While Deep Purple has had a number of members over the years, the Hall has chosen to induct Ritchie Blackmore, David Coverdale, Rod Evans, Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Glenn Hughes, Jon Lord and Ian Paice.

The beef that many fans of rock music will have is not so much which groups and musical artists made it on the list of inductees, but that the ones left off the list should have also made it into the Hall.
