The onetime director of Fogle’s charity agreed in September to plead guilty to charges of child exploitation and distributing and receiving child pornography as part of a conspiracy with Fogle.

Prosecutors initially asked for a 35-year sentence, and Taylor’s attorney’s tried to bargain for a 15-23-year bid.

The sentence was eight years less than what prosecutors sought.

The fast food icon was sentenced last month to more than 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to trading in child pornography and having sex with two underage prostitutes.

Taylor had been the executive director of the Jared Fogle Foundation from 2009 until his arrest last April.

“There would be discussions of how much Mr. Taylor loved “daddy” and reminding him that “daddy” was paying for his things”, court documents said.

Taylor further claimed that Fogle forced him to acquire “date-rape” drugs so that Fogle could use them to take advantage of minors, in addition to filming 12 different children in states of undress.

“Mr. Taylor’s profile suggests that he is fearfully dependent and socially anxious and he is highly likely to depend on others for guidance due to his inability to assert himself…” But in Fogle, Taylor said, “I met somebody who was famous and rich and he wanted to be my friend”.

The Indianapolis man said he has been “falling asleep in a puddle of tears every night” since he was arrested, and told Pratt that she’s “never had a prisoner stand in your court more remorseful than I am today”, reported the Indianapolis Star. Taylor will be on lifetime supervision after he serves his 27-year sentence, Pratt ordered. In court documents, they said he had an abusive relationship with Fogle, and he was forced to call Fogle “daddy”.

A judge sentenced Taylor Thursday to almost three decades behind bars.

However when agents searched Fogle’s own home in July, it turned out the long-time Subway spokesman and father of two possessed child abuse images and had paid for sex with underage girls. One of those associates was affiliated with Fogle’s charitable foundation, according to a question from Taylor’s attorney.

Taylor’s defense team also argues he his mentally ill and suffered a traumatic childhood.
