Meek Mill Hopes Nicki Minaj Promise Keeps Him Out of Jail
Meek Mill faces a potential prison sentence early next year after a judge in Philadelphia found the rapper guilty of probation violations.

He has been on parole for years over a 2009 drug and gun conviction. He has had several restrictions put on him in the past and did five months in jail after he violated his parole previous year.
Hosted by “American Idol” judge Jennifer Lopez, the AMAs was held on November 22 in Los Angeles, California, in which Minaj and her album, “The Pinkprint”, won Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Album.
Defense lawyers blame the lapses on the “chaos” of the music industry.
“I’m a New Yorker, but there are times in NY when you wake up and it’s, like, a dreary day”. His lawyer said he and Minaj were seriously discussing marriage. “He doesn’t have a lot of structure”, she said.
Mill testified that he knew his “whole life is on the line” and tried to follow the rules.
It’s Not Meek, It’s The System: Brown calls the system “bullsh*t” and that both the DA’s and judges are at fault for messing up people’s lives.
He is required to get travel vouchers before he leaves town and meet with his probation officer in Philadelphia every 60 days.
His sentencing hearing is schedule for February when he will know his fate. Looking fierce as ever – even in garments that aren’t quite the right fit- Minaj wrote the caption, “Babe thanks but I think I need a bigger size”.

Judge Brinkley also raised questions about a suspicious sample during a drug test but Mill denied trying to fake the test or taking any drugs. He also broke down while telling the judge that he couldn’t leave the state to go see his mother in New Jersey while she was undergoing surgery. After one witness sang Meek’s praises… the judge said, “This court has done nothing but try to help the defendant”.
