The star – who was on the show to promote Star Wars: The Force Awakens – also revealed she had shared acting advice with newcomer and fellow cast mate Daisy Ridley, who joined her on the famous sofa.

Carrie Fisher was in fine form at the Los Angeles premiere of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on Monday night.
“She’s much more hopeful than I am, and much braver than I am”, Daisy said.
As the “overseer” of Princess Leia for four decades, the Star Wars character has dependably seeped into Carrie Fisher’s other life as a creator.
And she’s proud, if a bit bewildered, to be a part of it. “I guess it feels like family”, said Ridley.
Resting on a hotel bed and petting her sleeping French bulldog, Gary, the actress acknowledges feeling “a little bit daunted” about returning to the Star Wars universe for the first time since 1983’s Return of the Jedi.
“I hope people find out I’m talented and that I’m hard-working”, said Ridley. While she has stated she is not playing Princess Leia’s daughter, she does admit that her hairdo in the movie is a tribute to her mother’s iconic character.
At a press conference with her co-stars on the day of the film’s United Kingdom release, she said: “I used to watch buses go past with posters on and I’d be like, oh that would be really cool!”
Fisher is the daughter of Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds and made her feature film debut in 1975.
Star Wars creator George Lucas stated being on the European premiere of Star Wars: The Pressure Awakens in London was like coming house.
