AAPv/s Jaitley: CBI replies to Arvind Kejriwal’s allegations
Even though he didn’t categorically accuse Jaitley of financial wrongdoings, Bedi insisted that the union finance minister had allowed the mess inside the DDCA to continue.

Jaitley has denied any wrongdoings and the CBI also said that only files related to Kumar were searched in the raid, and its action was not linked to DDCA files.
“The CM usually reaches office by 10 a.m. The CBI stormed into the office around 9.40 a.m. and asked the staff present there not to leave the office till the raid is completed”, a Delhi government official told IANS. “One can not say that clerk’s office was raided and not Chief Minister’s”, Sisodia, Kejriwal’s most trusted lieutenant, said.
“This is a complete murder of democracy and the Aam Aadmi Party feels it is imperative for all persons who value their freedom to protest against this unannounced emergency”, Menon said.
‘Since Jaitley has lied on the ground of the Home and misled Parliament, this warrants privilege movement towards him and the federal government. Meanwhile, Arun Jaitley dismissed Arvind’s claims and stated, “The CBI raid has nothing to do with Arvind Kejriwal and his office”.
Talking to ANI outside parliament, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) Jitender Singh pointedly asked Kejriwal to name the CBI officer who gave him this information and accused him of attempting to place another intelligence body over the CBI. “Modi is a coward and psychopath”, he said in another tweet expressing his anger over the raids.
“When Modi cudn’t handle me politically, he resorts to this cowardice. Finding himself acting as a shield to cover an officer under investigation, the Delhi chief minister has attempted to focus attention on me”, Jaitley’s FB post reads further.

In his tweets, Kejriwal also suggested that Jaitley was anxious about Delhi government’s probe into the functioning of DDCA. “You apologise to the nation for your misdeeds and I will apologise for my words”, Kejriwal said in the evening after the BJP attack on him for his strong words against Modi.
