Retailers pull out all the stops for Super Saturday
In a last-ditch effort to reach sales goals, retailers will host great sales to lure in shoppers, so expect to find some terrific deals.

The last weekend before the Christmas holiday proved to be a busy one at stores, malls and holiday fairs. Close to half of those surveyed said that quick delivery allows them to shop later.
Keep in mind the desperation of retailers as well, said Ellwood, because they might price match if you “cross-reference the price at the mall with the price on your phone”.
“The retailers that participate in Super Saturday are numerous same that boast everyone’s favorite Black Friday discounts”, says Courtney Jespersen of NerdWallet.com, an online resource providing information, insight and consumer-driven advice about personal finance. It comes in just ahead of Black Friday, the post-Thanksgiving Day boom that unofficial starts the holiday shopping season.
“Compared to online shopping, I think it’s pretty, pretty competitive”, said Sunita Ruddy who was out shopping with her family.
Unseasonably warm temperatures and the lack of snow have failed to give shoppers that emotional connection to the holiday, Allen said.
“You want to believe that it eventually is going to get cold”. “I’m just excited and can’t wait”, said Robin Reed, who was picking up last-minute gifts.
Shoppers will be storming stores for those last-minute gifts.
“Sneak out while the kids are asleep”, she said.
With the holiday one week away, it’s now or never for all those procrastinators. It’s understandable that the threat of showrooming preys on retailers’ minds, particularly during such an important shopping season as Christmas. With extended hours, stores like toys S rchs “R” us and Kohl’s will be open 170 straight hours. This is partly due to the fact that many of our resident retailers are holding sales that are too good for shoppers to miss. Coats, sweaters and boots will already be deeply discounted starting this weekend at stores including Macy’s, Kohl’s, Kmart and Sears.

Shoppers should be aware of return policies.
