The Patriots improved to 12-2 with the win and moved a step closer to securing one of the top two playoff seeds – and the all-important bye.

Here’s a look at the scenarios where New England can land a first round bye.

The Patriots lost yet another receiver in the game, when Danny Amendola went out in the first half with a knee injury.

New England gets two interceptions, five sacks and a defensive touchdown.

The Titans defense kept them in it limiting Brady to two touchdown passes and 267 yards. He then jogged up and down the sideline both forward and back and seemed to be ready to return as Zach Mettenberger took over the offense.

The Titans trailed the Patriots 24-3 at halftime.

Following Gostkowski’s second field goal of the afternoon midway through the third, Tennessee cut the lead to 27-16 early in the fourth when Mettenberger found Delanie Walker on a 57-yard scoring strike to slice the advantage to 11.

Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings: Peterson limped off the field with 3:30 left in the second quarter after his left ankle bent awkwardly when Pernell McPhee dragged him down.
