Kejriwal fires fresh salvo, claims CBI ordered to target Opposition
The CBI’s raid on the office of the Principal Secretary to the Delhi Chief Minister, Arvind Kejriwal has prompted a political war – this time being fought on Twitter where Kejriwal’s 6.5 million followers and other supporters form an army of sorts.

He also maintained that Jaitley was the brain behind the raid so that the probe agency could read files related to an inquiry ordered by Delhi government into wrongdoings in the Delhi and District Cricket Association. “Mr Jaitley has consistently justified spending Rs 114 crore for a contract which was tendered at one-fifth of this cost (just Rs 24 crore), and said he is proud of making a world-class stadium”. Basically, the party said that CBI was trying to shield Jaitley.
The AAP also posed a fresh set of questions for Jaitley.
In response, Jaitley had said on Thursday, “I left cricket administration in 2013”.
AAP leader Sanjay Singh alleged that the Finance Minister has sent a legal notice to him and his colleague Ashutosh “through” Lokesh Sharma, who is Managing Director of private firm 21st Century Media, and said that they are ready to face one thousand such legal notices and will not be deterred from exposing “corruption” in DDCA. Asking about the six-fold increase in the assets in such a short period, he said, Mr Jaitley, in 2006, you declared assets of only Rs 23.86 crore and in 2012, you declared assets of Rs 120 crore.
“Is this what is expected from a chief minister”, Singh wondered. “Why the Delhi government has not suspended Kumar till today?” asked Mr Gupta.

Senior bureaucrats of the Delhi government met Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Saturday and urged him to ensure a “conducive atmosphere” that would allow them to work in a “free and neutral manner”.
