Chelsea Confirm Guus Hiddink As Mourinho’s Successor
London, Dec.19: Jose Mourinho has announced that he will not be taking a prolonged sabbatical from the game of football, insisting that he is “not tired” after being sacked as the Chelsea manager.

“I am excited to return to Stamford Bridge“, he told the club’s official website.
The ill-feeling towards some of the club’s players was emphasised by one of many banners in support of Mourinho, which read: “The three rats; Hazard, Cesc and Costa”.
“We are determined, collectively, to get ourselves back to where we should be.it won’t be easy after the start that we have made but we need to turn this season around”.
The Dutchman replaces Jose Mourinho, who was sacked on Thursday with the club 16th in the table and just one point above the relegation zone.
“Mourinho is pleased that he returned to Chelsea Football Club because he was able to give the fans another Premier League title, which they had not won for many years”.
Hiddink watched Saturday’s game sitting alongside Abramovich and club legend Didier Drogba.
Supporters offered a mixed reaction to the 52-year-old’s sacking, with a number of fans questioning the amount of loyalty which their team shows to bosses.
Hiddink has been out of work since June after losing his job as manager of Holland following a poor Euro 2016 qualifying campaign.
Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo said “palpable discord between manager and players” was a factor in Mourinho’s dismissal, but captain John Terry said player unrest was not the reason for his departure.
He went on to win the Champions League with Inter Milan in 2010 and lifted league titles in both Italy and Spain, with Real Madrid, before rejoining Chelsea in 2013.
There have been rumours about player power, but I want to make it clear that’s not the case.

But the Portuguese, who released statement through the agency which represents him, is ready for a new challenge.
