Strictly Come Dancing final – Katie Derham graciously finishes in fourth place
But Anton, who will dance with broadcaster Katie Derham on tonight’s final, insists such claims are laughable and that nobody has time to think about things in such a convoluted way.

It just wasn’t meant to be for an emotional, but still smiling, Katie as she said of her experience in the competition: “I’m pleased as punch to be here, I can’t believe I’m here in the final!”
He added: “In the final, I’ve had to do that group dance where you watch everyone else make the final and you get a little bit spiteful”.
“I came down on a spangly box like a pop star. These guys are unbelievably awesome and I’m so looking forward to seeing them dance”.
Katie Derham has confessed that she was the worse dancer in last weekend’s Strictly Come Dancing semi-final.
And now Katie has suggested that the judges were WRONG to make that choice, admitting that Anita was the better of the pair in the bottom two dance off. Earlier in the night she performed her Quickstep again after it was selected by the judges and she performed an impressive showdance with her partner Anton du Beke.
But Katie Derham, 45, has suggested that she’s less deserving of a place than Anita Rani and her partner Gleb Savchencko, who were sent home following the dance-off.
She said on Loose Women after her elimination: “The honest thing is, he didn’t”.
“She’s got loyal fans”.
“But I wouldn’t let anything, and neither would she, spoil the time we’ve had on the show”. I’m one. They’re upset she didn’t get through. But that’s the show.
