The company announced that the Nexus 6P Special Edition will exclusively go on sale via the giant E-commerce portal Flipkart starting next week.
The Nexus 6P is designed with an all-metal unibody. Everything else inside remains the same. Running on Google’s latest version of Android, Marshmallow, Nexus 6P was launched at a price Rs 39,999 (32GB) and Rs 42,999 (64 GB) with two colors Aluminum (Silver) and Graphite (Black) in India. It charges Rs 1,000 more than the standard edition. Are you tempted to splash out on this gold colored Nexus 6P Special Edition? It has a 12.3 MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture with IR Laser assisted Auto focus and broad spectrum CRI-90 dual LED flash support. The color of the smartphone is the only difference of this special edition variant while the rest of the specifications and features endure alike. As it turns out, the gold-colored version was exclusive to the Japanese market. The rear camera is also capable of recording 4K and high-frame-rate slow-motion videos. It packs a 3,450 mAh battery with Quick Charge 2.0. The larger 1.55um pixels capture more light even in the dimmest conditions to produce stunning details and sharp images.
