Points Could Win Premier League – Wenger

Former player Ian Wright feels Arsenal have the best opportunity to beat Barcelona as they have nothing to lose going in to their Champions League knockout encounter, he told the Fletch and Sav show.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has backed Manchester City counterpart Manuel Pellegrini to cope with the constant speculation linking Pep Guardiola with his job.

So reports the Daily Mail’s Charles Sale, who further noted “high-level sources have added Arsenal to the shortlist for Guardiola” while the Gunners’ rivals Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea have also been linked with the coveted Spaniard.

And while Wenger praised his ability to open up opponents, he was also keen to point out how Ozil has improved at the less attractive things in his game.

“We have a chance to knock them out”.

Arsene Wenger highlighted the major role played by the player, “He is the main provider in our team”. Contributing closely with assists, the Dutchman additionally managed to tally 50 Premier League objectives after 114 matches.
