The tweet showed a newly snapped photo of Princess Charlotte with her parents and brother, Prince George.
William, the second in line to the British throne, and Catherine said that they’re “hugely appreciative” of the warm messages they received about their family this year and are “very much looking forward to their first Christmas as a family of four”, according to palace officials.
Master in Charge of the Pre-Preparatory, Paul Faulkner was delighted with the response and said: “The children were very excited to receive the reply from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge”.
Where was Lupo in the Christmas card photo?
Kate is pictured balancing baby Charlotte on her knee, while William sits next to his wife.
The picture was released just after Kensington Palace announced George, who was born in July 2013, will start at Westacre Montessori School Nursey in Norfolk in January.
“I hope everyone enjoys it and I am honoured the Duke and Duchess have chose to share it with the public”.

Rather than send George to a school in London, the couple have chosen to send the future king to a nursery school near their home, close to the Queens Sandringham estate.
His nursery, which was rated “good” by Ofsted after a summer inspection, costs £5.50 an hour or £33 a day to attend.
The report stated: “Children are interested and motivated to participate in activities. Children make good progress given their starting points and capabilities”.
