Nicki Minaj’s boyfriend Meek Mill could face jail for parole violations

According to Chris, the Philadelphia judge who found Meek guilty of violating probation should realize Meek can have more influence being “out of jail than in it”.

Meek Mill has been in and out of a Philadelphia court for the past couple of weeks as he’s been defending himself against accusations that he violated his probation with unapproved travels outside of the Philly area.

But Common Pleas Judge Genece Brinkley threatened to send Mill to jail when the hearing resumes December 17, as she did for a few months previous year.

“I would never dishonor and disrespect you knowing that you are the person who gave me the shot to change my life”, he told Brinkley.

The All Eyes On You rapper said that with Nicki by his side he is turning his life around and has dropped old friends from his entourage.

Bad news for Meek Mill. Mill was convicted, served eight months in prison, and then began five years’ probation in the fall of 2009. “He can be irresponsible”, Minaj testified last week.

The defense says the music business is chaotic. The latest rules required Mill to get travel vouchers before he leaves town and meet with his probation officer in Philadelphia every 60 days.

His sentencing hearing is schedule for February when he will know his fate. He was found in violation of his probation upon release after he continuously scheduled concert performances.

He has also insulted the case prosecutor in a rap song, a decision he now calls “immature”. He also broke down while telling the judge that he couldn’t leave the state to go see his mother in New Jersey while she was undergoing surgery. After one witness sang Meek’s praises… the judge said, “This court has done nothing but try to help the defendant”.
