They’ve been allowing right around 280 yards per game to opposing quarterbacks this season and that’s been a very consistent number for them. Today’s game has an afternoon start time and airs on a network TV channel in some markets as well as being available as a live stream online option.

The Steelers are planning for similar success this weekend.

“The best receiver in the game right now”, Denver cornerback Chris Harris Jr. said after being beaten on each of Brown’s touchdowns. The Broncos are without starting safeties T.J Ward and Darian Stewart. Ward for Sunday’s game.
The safest choice here is the Steelers, and one might imagine that waving a Terrible Towel would be easier to stomach than donning the Broncos orange. Something has to give this Sunday. They played really well, defensively, too. This week will be the toughest test for the revamped line. It was the first TD that the Denver corner had allowed in over two years.
The Denver Broncos (10-3) are coming from a 35-51 loss to the Oakland Raiders.
Broncos have won four of last five meetings with Pittsburgh and haven’t lost in Steel City since 1997…. Along with Miller, the Steelers will have to contend with veteran Demarcus Ware and Shaquil Barrett. B/R “reported” this morning that Manning doesn’t want to play second fiddle to fourth-year quarterback Brock Osweiler; it hasn’t been said.
The problem is that Osweiler bombed in the second half, as he threw for just 69 yards, and the Broncos were shut out in the second half for the third straight game.

The total blame can not all be placed on the young quarterback. The Steelers rank 11th in the latter category. WR Calvin Johnson is questionable with a sore ankle heading into the game for the Lions (4-9), who are already guaranteed their third losing season in four as coach Jim Caldwell’s future is unclear. James Harrison and newly-named starter Bud Dupree are both capable of recording multiple sacks, which would definitely be a huge boost for this inconsistent defense. Look for that to change Sunday.
