Sanders says DNC’s timing of Saturday night’s debate was meant to ‘protect
ABC News went on without Hillary Clinton at its Democratic debate Saturday when the presidential candidate failed to return to her podium during a commercial break.

Sanders spokeman Michael Briggs confirmed the suspensions following a Democratic debate in New Hampshire but did not immediately provide more details. But the campaign also filed a lawsuit against the DNC over a “breach of contract” after the DNC disciplined the campaign by revoking its credentials to access its own voter data.
“After discussion with the DNC, it became clear that some of our staffers irresponsibly accessed some of the data from another campaign”, Sanders’ campaign manager Jeff Weaver said.
“I am the lump of coal in Mrs. Clinton’s stocking”, Fiorina, said in an interview on “Fox News Sunday”.
Hillary Clinton largely looked past her Democratic rivals in Saturday night’s debate, instead repeatedly assailing the Republican field, led by Donald J Trump.
He called for an independent investigation, saying he would work with Clinton to examine the problem more closely.
In his closing remarks, O’Malley simply said, “The other big challenge we have is climate change”, before moving on to other issues. “They are going to people showing videos of Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadis”, she said. “The DNC being seen as the fair arbiter and steward of the data is critical to this continued advantage over Republicans”. “The United States of America can not…be thought of as the policeman of the world”, he said.
Clinton desperately hopes she can run against Trump, Fiorina said, because “I will reveal to the American people again and again the ‘Clinton way'”. We’ve got to hate the Muslims.’ Meanwhile, the rich get richer.
The Clinton campaign accused Mr Sanders’ team of stealing information used to target voters and anticipate what issues might motivate them.
Clinton has often used Republicans as foils to make the case that she is the Democrat who would give the party its best chance of holding onto the White House.
The apparent distance between Sanders and his aides may be created to benefit their candidate by disassociating him from the kind of political tactics that could undermine his truth-telling reputation. But Clinton’s few public statements suggest that she might be friendlier to teachers unions than President Obama, who often antagonized unions with his competitive grant programs, support for charter schools, and push to evaluate teachers based in part on their students’ test scores. We asked the Clinton camp where they got that from.

Sanders said he wants to make “secondary” the fight against Syrian leader Bashar Assad and focus exclusively on defeating the Islamic State. He said Clinton and Sanders had adopted more aggressive positions on gun control in the wake of this year’s mass shootings.
