ZTE launches Axon Max with 6-inch display

ZTE Axon Max smartphone has been launched in China last week. It is priced at RMB 2,799, i.e. approx INR 28,600.

The ZTE Axon Max is now available for pre-order in China for 2799 Yuan, or around $432, ahead of its release later this month.

ZTE has released a number of really interesting devices this year, and their new “Axon” line of devices definitely managed to capture people’s attention. The AXON flagship series has always been known for its affordable but high-end products that are actually changing the landscape of mobile industry little by little. The new ZTE Axon Max, similar to its predecessors features same Boeing 787 aircraft-grade aluminium titanium alloy build. However, compared to other Axon handsets, the new Axon Max measures 7.5mm.

The handset packs an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor clubbed with Adreno 405 and 3GB RAM.It has a 32GB of inbuilt storage that is expandable to 128GB via microSD card. Called ZTE Axon Max, the smartphone boasts of a 6-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a pixel density of 367 ppi.

While the Axon Max may be the final model in the lineup, ZTE has announced its continued commitment to providing consumers with innovative devices. The ZTE Axon Max bears a 16MP rear camera with LED flash and a 13MP front facing camera. It also features a Hi-Fi audio playback and recording experience pumped out by an independent flagship audio chipset.

The flagship phablet comes with a large 4,140 mAh battery that will provide users with power for an entire day.

The smartphone is fuelled by a 4140mAh battery and also supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 tech, which can charge the smartphone from 0 to 60 percent in 30 minutes. The Axon Max offers two SIM card slots (Hybrid Dual-SIM, nano SIM x 2), and 4G LTE connectivity is also available here, of course. The device also comes with the USB Type-C port.
