The Rajya Sabha’s proceedings were disrupted once again on Monday as Congress members demanded Finance Minister Arun Jaitley’s resignation over alleged corruption in the DDCA.

However, Delhi Chief Minsiter and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said Jaitley can not intimidate him and his party by filing a court case.
Kejriwal’s team said Jaitley should resign or be removed to clear the way for a new investigation, and that they were planning to file a police case against Jaitley “very soon”.
Kejriwal and the five AAP leaders have publicly been making allegations against Jaitley with regard to the DDCA affairs although some of the allegations have gone beyond that. Find us on Facebook too!
“Jaitley should not try to intimidate us with court cases”. He met Sonia Gandhi and they said we will fix Jaitley, ‘ he said.
“Even when the finance minister says he is ready for a discussion, shouting of slogans is unjustified and unacceptable”.
Amid swirling charges against Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), the AAP government has made a decision to set up a commission of inquiry to probe alleged irregularities including financial bunglings in the cricket body and has written to former solicitor general Gopal Subramanium urging him to be its head.
He also raised questions about the legalities of DDCA to be probed by an enquiry committee.
Some in the BJP claimed the Congress President had implored with shouts of “Kirti” to ask Azad to speak and how this was further proof that Azad was Congress’ “Trojan horse” in the BJP.
In his blogpost, Jaitley had countered that the UPA regime had investigated DDCA affairs through the Serious Fraud and Investigations Office (SFIO) and found merely “technical and procedural violations”.
Jaitley denied Kejriwal’s allegations as “utterly baseless”.
Azad said large-scale rigging of accounts was rampant in the cricket board but he did not name Jaitley in the scam.
