OnePlus 2 Starts Receiving OS Update With Several Fixes
The OnePlus 2 owners are getting a nice Christmas present right now, as OnePlus has started rolling out a new Oxygen OS update – version 2.2.0.

Relatively, the company announced the roll out of the OxygenOS 2.1.3 OTA update that mainly intended on betterment of the user experience pertaining with SD cards, brought security patches, and more. So be patient if it hasn’t been pushed out to your phone yet. The over-the-air update will be reaching users gradually, and one can also check manually under System Updates. Besides, the new update also adds some UI enhancements. And, as an added bonus, the update includes a batch of OnePlus-made holiday wallpapers to dress up your device with a little holiday spirit. We can expect a similar update to rollout to the OnePlus X in coming days.
Have you captured the update yet? There is a fix also for the Google Camera photo-sphere and fixes for the bugs that happened when you would view in panorama.
Why this matters: OnePlus’s Oxygen OS is one of the better-looking Android forks out there, and it’s refreshing to see the company committed to keeping its devices updated. Beyond that there is also a fix for the dual SIM preference selection issues which was in the settings. The security patches and general optimization fixes and tweaks are also a part of the new OxygenOS 2.2 version for OnePlus 2 users.

The latest update comes nearly a month after the OxygenOS 2.1.2 update was released for the OnePlus 2 and OnePlus X smartphones.
