Bill Cosby Sues Accuser, Model Beverly Johnson, Over Drugging Claim
The lawsuit accuses Johnson of using the media’s attention to her allegations to promote the sale of her memoir, which includes a chapter in which she accuses Cosby of drugging her. “She has repeated [the allegations] to every media publication, newspaper, magazine, or TV show that will hear her”, the statement said, which claims that Johnson is “no stranger to making salacious public allegations”.

She never told Davis, Jr. about what happened because she was so ashamed, explaining to the New York Daily News, “I never said a word”.
Cosby claims the accusations have caused him “substantial injuries” and damage to his reputation and character, and he is also demanding unspecified damages in that case.
In addition to money, Cosby asks she publicly take back her allegations, pull any copies of her memoir, The Face That Changed It All: A Memoir, that haven’t been sold from shelves and take his name out of copies that haven’t been printed yet.
She continued, “I wanted him to know that I knew that he had drugged me and I just went on survival mode”. No criminal charges have been filed against Cosby.
On Dec 14, the 78-year-old counter-sued seven other accusers in federal court in MA, denying their claims he drugged and assaulted them and claiming their allegations of defamatory statements by him regarding the accusations were baseless as a result.
Among them was supermodel Beverly, who claimed that the “Cosby Show” star had drugged and assaulted her during a private dinner in the ’80s. Those women contend Cosby defamed them by allowing his representatives to brand them as liars.
That’s because statements that Cosby’s accusers have engaged in “innuendo” or are otherwise motivated by greed are mere opinions, according to Hill’s legal request to dismiss the lawsuit. “These are the legal arguments we expected of him”, Hill’s attorney, George Kontos, said in an email Monday.
Bill Cosby’s wife Camille Cosby has stood by him in the midst of these allegations, even when court documents were released from a civil suit from 2005 of Cosby admitting that he obtained Quaaludes to give to women with the intention of having sex with them.
