Aliona Vilani QUITS Strictly just days after winning
The results are in and it’s Jay McGuiness that gets to take home that notorious glitter ball trophy.

Admitting he felt “spaced out” to presenters Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman, Jay went on to say: “It’s been one of the most special things that I’ve ever done and with the most special person”.
The problem with Strictly Come Dancing is that because some of the performances do include romantic elements and are sometimes rather sexually charged, some fans seem to think that the stars are getting it on, when that could not be any further from the truth.
However, the voting public alone decided the winning couple and McGuiness and Vilani were triumphant.
He said: “I just really thought that was that and then when we won it was the most unbelievable feeling”.
The EastEnders actress & dance partner Kevin Clifton scored a powerful 119 out of 120 points on Saturday night’s grand finale.
On the night, Kellie had scored two flawless 40s while Jay ended bottom of the leaderboard, the only one of the final three to not post a ideal score for any of his routines.
Commenting on the criticism he had received from judge Craig Revel Horwood throughout the evening, including being told he started the competition with “no personality”, Jay said: “I think he definitely likes very theatrical, showy performances”.
“I’m glad I got to see it through to the end”, she told the co-hosts.
Meanwhile, broadcaster Katie Derham and partner Anton Du Beke finished in fourth place.
However, Craig, 50, believes Jay, 25, probably secured his win back in October when him and his professional partner Aliona Vilani, 31, dazzled with their Pulp Fiction jive.

The BBC previously said her claim was “nonsense”, saying: “Any suggestion that the scores are “fixed” is nonsense”.
