Mesut Ozil praises Arsenal’s ‘brutal team efficiency’
Kelechi Iheanacho’s two Premier League goals this season have won Manchester City four points; the same total that Olivier Giroud’s nine goals have earned Arsenal. We have something really special there.

“I understand that we must improve, especially in the games we are playing away, but we continue to be involved in all the competitions”.
Sanchez is always desperate to play every game and he has rushed back from injuries on a couple of occasions during his time at Arsenal.
And yet it was the Gunners who made the breakthrough 12 minutes from the interval, with Mesut Ozil feeding Walcott, who cut inside his marker and unleashed a scorcher that zipped beyond the stunned Joe Hart. Delph was certainly very unimpressive in the first 45 minutes and rightfully taken out.
“Football, you need at the end of the day someone who gives the guy the ball who scores the goal”.
Arsenal sit second in the table, five points behind leaders Leicester City and a point above third placed Manchester City.
“I am uncomfortable because we played better than Arsenal”, Pellegrini told the BBC.
City had wasted two good chances before a run of unpunished fouls fired up the home crowd and sparked the Gunners into action.
Just moments later Arsenal took the lead, English forward Theo Walcott cutting in from the edge of the box and rocketing a sublime curled shot into the far bottom corner. “But of course it was important to try to win”, he said.
“What’s interesting in my side is there’s a real life in the team, a real togetherness and great solidarity”.
With the last kick of the first half, Ozil was allowed time to spin on the ball and set Giroud in on goal.
Manuel Pellegrini insists Manchester City’s title hopes are still alive despite seeing them slip to a fifth league defeat of the season at Arsenal.
Wenger said: “You get used to that from Mesut Ozil, I am long enough in the game to know that to find this quality you have to travel a long way”. But I believe now we have shown it… what we did at Olympiakos is not a team of no character.

“I think we didn’t deserve to lose I think we did better than Arsenal, we had more possession, more attempts, more shots at target”.
