A Jet Airways bus rammed into an Air India aircraft on Tuesday morning, leaving the aircraft severely damaged.
However, no casualty or injury was reported as the plane was empty and was being ready for the passengers to board the plane when the mishap happened.
Air India officials said the plane suffered major damage and has been grounded.
The driver was allegedly asleep at the wheel, causing the bus to go off the track and hitting the aircraft – an ATR 42 plane. Momin Ali, the driver, is clinically reviewed and being asked. The authorities at the NSCB airport have ruled out any chance of sabotage.
