Sanders: Timing of debates structured to help Clinton
Democrats and Republicans have yet to choose their official candidates for next year’s presidential election, but that has not stopped front-runners Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump from attacking each other. “She lied again. She invented a second video narrative which has nothing to do with the truth”.

The former Secretary of State brought a moment of comic relief during Saturday’s debate when after a commercial break she strode back to her podium late, the result of what her campaign said was a long walk to the women’s restroom at the site.
While counter-terrorism analysts say the Islamic State could use Trump’s comments to support their claim that the West is waging war on Islam, fact-checkers say there is no evidence of any ISIS videos featuring the Republican front-runner. Insofar as Podesta didn’t admit that Clinton was wrong about the existence of a video, while maintaining that her general point was correct, he doubled down on her claim.
I think that if you look at what’s going on in the Middle East, the fact that Mr. Trump is on television all the time, the fact that ISIS is using him as a recruitment tool is a very fair charge.
Mr Trump has called for a ban on Muslims entering the U.S., drawing criticism from around the world.
Jennifer Palimieri, Clinton’s communications director, also doubled down on Clinton’s comments on ABC’s This Week.
“It’s just another Hillary lie, “Trump said on NBC’s Meet the Press on Sunday”.
Trump insisted on Monday “there is proof because many people saw that happen”. It’s not like there’s any evidence at all that this is happening, she’s still a liar.
Had he noticed that only a minute earlier Sanders had apologized, and Clinton had accepted the apology and played down the issue?
“I will demand an apology from Hillary”.
Sanders’ campaign has suspended two more staffers who appear to be involved in downloading Clinton’s campaign data when a vendor’s firewall failed, making voter information available to rival camps in theDemocratic presidential primary.

Still, Trump’s comments make it harder for the United States to build good will among Muslim populations and make him complicit in Islamic State mobilization efforts, said Democratic strategist Bud Jackson.
