Arsene Wenger has no new fitness concerns ahead of Arsenal’s match against Manchester City, and remains hopeful Alexis Sanchez could be available for Monday.

The former France worldwide said last April that – as well as a goalkeeper, a centre back and a holding midfielder – Wenger would need to sign “a top-quality striker” in order to win the title again. “I hope, and I wish, that Arsenal win the [Premier League] title”.
The 33-year-old’s shut-out in last weekend’s win at Aston Villa last weekend means he has now drawn level with David James for the record number of Barclays Premier League clean sheets with 169 to his name. All of us can be for one day in our life exceptional but character is to have a target and maintain your focus on that target.
– Kelechi Iheanacho’s two Premier League goals this season have earned Manchester City four points; the same total to come as a direct result of Olivier Giroud’s nine goals for Arsenal.
He also praised Mesut Ozil, who has proved himself to be an “unbelievable player” for Arsenal this season.
“The Premier League has so much financial power that the lower teams who spent a bit less, they can still buy the best players in Valencia, in Lyon, and that makes the league much more competitive”, the Gunners boss said. Their defence of their league title last season was poor but they still finished second and are the favourites to take the crown this term.
In the whole of 2014, Arsenal played 38 games, winning 20 games, drawing 10 and losing 8 (as opposed to this year, in which they won 23, drew 6 and lost 6 in 35 games).
Have Arsenal missed Danny Welbeck this season?
“It is a massive game [on Monday]”. Obviously I don’t want to come back too soon and make the injury worse.

“I do not want to assess any other things about Chelsea”, he said. The Hornets sit seventh after an impressive first 16 games back in the top flight, yet none of their 25 points have been accrued in a live televised game, with home defeats to Crystal Palace, Arsenal and Manchester United all coming in front of the live cameras.
