Louisa romped to victory on last night’s live final, beating duo Reggie N Bollie into second place at Wembley Arena.
The 17-year-old from Chafford Hundred was crowned victor after performing a cover of Bob Dylan’s Forever Young.
After a night celebrating her incredible win on the talent show, Louisa told Nick she still couldn’t quite believe she’d bagged the ultimate prize of a record contract and overnight pop-star status, admitting: “I keep watching it back”.
Her mentor Rita Ora said: “Thank you to everyone who voted!”
Louisa Johnson is your 2015 “X-Factor” victor. Apart from a couple of small blips, she was the leading contestant always with the number of votes she gained by the fans and viewers of this show.
As for all of the claims that Louisa will be bigger than Leona Lewis or any other female solo act in the history of the show, it’s a little early to start thinking about that, isn’t it?
Afterwards, Reggie “N” Bollie were upbeat, saying they came into the show “with nothing” and went out “fully loaded with music”.
“Louisa, I think you’re an angel”.
In her first semi-final song, Louisa gave a powerful rendition of James Brown’s It’s A Man’s Man’s Man’s World. I’m just going to work hard and hope for the best. “You are not human!” – it was clear that she was a favourite to win. “The money we raise will make a real difference”.
“A user called Vickeyy.x said: “@ReggieNBollie are the winners in eyes made me smile each week.
Group Marketing Director for Very.co.uk, Kenyatte Nelson, commented: “The collaboration between Very.co.uk and The X Factor is hugely exciting”.
She followed up with The Power Of Love by Frankie Goes To Hollywood.
But fellow judge Rita Ora said: “I might be the most hated person ever but for me, it was a bit cruise ship for me”.
