Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp dismisses Christian Benteke link with Chelsea
Chelsea are reportedly lining up a sensational move for Liverpool star Christian Benteke ahead of next month’s transfer window, report the Daily Express.

Benteke – who cost Liverpool £32m – is on a priority target list assembled by deposed boss Jose Mourinho, and new bos Guus Hiddink is allegedly also interested.
The Belgian forward only arrived at Anfield from Aston Villa in the summer for £32.5 million, but the 25-year-old is struggling to nail down a regular starting spot under new manager Jurgen Klopp.
Chelsea have struggled for goals this season and even though Benteke himself has only scored four for Liverpool so far this season, his record while at Villa suggests he has what it takes to succeed in the Premier League. If as a striker you don’t feel confident in the game because you aren’t getting enough crosses then you have to move more.
“That’s the next problem: if you lose the games everyone is allowed to ask why this player didn’t play, when they wouldn’t after you win”, Klopp said.

Klopp conceded there is work to be done to improve Benteke’s development but some Kop sources believe he may not have the time or patience to change the striker.
