Donald Trump defends Vladimir Putin from allegations that he killed journalists
The Republican presidential front-runner was reacting to the backlash he received since he said it was a “great honor” to receive Russian President Vladimir Putin’s praise for his candidacy.

Trump contrasted his potential friendship with Putin with Obama, whom he lamented has “never gotten along” with the Russian leader.
“I think the answer is yes”, Trump answered.
“I wouldn’t want it”, Christie said.
“I didn’t say anything one way or the other. Do you know the names of the reporters that he killed?” You have been hearing this.
“I’ve seen different reports about my daughters – the media were saying they are getting an education overseas and are living overseas”.
A 2009 investigation by the International Federation of Journalists reported 96 killings of journalists between 1991 and 2009, by far the highest number among the 20 richest countries in the world.
“He’s got no achievements”, said Donald Trump. It’s possible that he does. And I think it’s something-yeah, I would bring it up. “I’ve read those allegations over the years”. But nobody’s proven that he’s killed anybody … “You’re just saying, he killed reporters”.
“Nobody has proven that he’s killed anyone….”
“He said, ‘Trump is brilliant”.
“I’ve always gotten along with politicians”. Headlines in Reuters, Trump is opposed to the war. When we left, we made a mistake. It’s a awful thing.
Trump argued that he is the last person Clinton wants to run against in a general election. I have 41 per cent in the latest poll.
“We are seeing the secret services of a certain number of countries intensifying… their work in Russian Federation”, he added. “And I’m saying it would be a bad thing if it were true”.
“It’s never been proven that he’s killed anybody”, the real estate mogul continued. I haven’t seen it. If he did it’s despicable.
“I do not see any perspective to normalize relations with Turkey on a inter-governmental level”.
Gazette’s investigative reporter Yuri Shchekochikhin was poisoned and died just days before he was scheduled to fly to the USA and meet with the Federal Bureau of Investigation officials to discuss a money laundering case in 2003. “He totally denied it”. Trump’s campaign did not respond when asked if the candidate was aware of these numbers. We spent $2 trillion, OK, thousands of hundreds of people killed.
We appreciate it when readers and people quoted in articles or blog posts point out errors of fact or emphasis and will investigate all assertions. 2 trillion deaths, wounded warriors. ISIS got a lot of the oil.
Last week, Putin described Trump as “bright and talented”.
Trump: “He’s running his country and at least he’s a leader, unlike what we have in this country”. “You know, we’re always fighting”.
We follow the same standards for taste as the daily newspaper. “He’s not going to mention them, so they’re jealous as hell”.
The site even allows you to sign up to get more information – with the disclaimer, “By signing up you are waiving all constitutional rights, civil liberties, notion of privacy and subjecting yourself to a steady stream of hugely outrageous comments”.

Stephanopoulos said, “Russia is part of that deal as well”. “So what happens with a deal-maker is you have an instinct, because deals are not deals, they’re people”.
