Following last nights sing off, Louisa Johnson and Reggie N Bollie waited impatiently to find out who had won this year’s X Factor competition.
Last night saw the worst rated X Factor Saturday night final ever, pulling in just 5.7 million viewers – down a whopping two million from previous year. However, some concerns were arosed as she felt ill this week.
“I had a gut instinct and felt like it was the right thing to do”.
Louisa was picked out by producers after attending Britain’s Got Talent auditions. “It wasn’t meant to be”, she said.
As the show’s hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack announced that she was the victor, Louisa just sobbed on stage, saying through her tears that “I’ve imagined this day for so many years, it’s incredible”.
Reggie “N” Bollie followed with a medley of Spice Up Your Life and Boom Boom Boom by Spice Girls and Outhere Brothers, which Simon described as “the weirdest song mash-up I’ve heard, it was like having a strawberry and liver milkshake”. Rita Ora said, “Thank you to everyone for voting. Thank you to everyone and to Simon Cowell for this awesome experience”.
