Adam Lambert: We Are The Champions performed for James Corden’s 50th
The singer’s appearance was actually a special one, as Corden was celebrating a 50 show milestone.

Corden was marking his 50th show as host of ‘The Late Show’ and his musical guest was current Queen frontman Adam Lambert – who, if you’ll remember, guitarist Brian May called ‘a gift from God’ earlier this year. Lambert covered the Queen song “We Are The Champions”, but changed its lyrics to relate to Corden. Lambert sang: “He’s paid his dues, done 50 shows”. Adam belted, showcasing his unbelievable (and effortless!) vocal skills as a tribute reel featuring some of Corden’s sillier moments played on the screens.
We saw Freddie Mercury shade Kanye’s cover of “Bohemian Rhapsody” via Internet meme, but how would the Queen front man feel about Adam Lambert’s version of “We Are the Champions“? The former “American Idol” contestant slammed West’s performance on Twitter.
