Trump on Putin’s crackdown on journalists: ‘it’s never been proven’
In a documentary called “World Order” aired over Russia’s state-controlled television, Putin said nuclear weapons are integral parts of his country’s security policies. “We’ve seen a lack of investment in it. We need to refurbish it and strengthen it. The fact that he didn’t know what it is one of those questions that I think you have to answer if you’re running for president of the United States”. I don’t know that he killed reporters. But this isn’t like somebody that’s stood with a gun and he’s, you know, taken the blame or he’s admitted that he’s killed.

Trump also said he wondered why the protesters would bother standing up and drawing attention to themselves “in a group of 9,000 maniacs that want to kill them”, referring to the crowd.
The billionaire businessman has been criticized by Republicans and Democrats for his congenial rhetoric about Putin. “I just think we would”, said Trump in the fake release.
Trump has expressed admiration of Putin in the past.
Pressed by Stephanopoulos, Trump said there was no direct evidence of Putin’s involvement.
Trump said even if Islamic State videos did surface of his calling for a temporary halt to Muslims entering the country, he would not change his position.
“What good does it do to have a good nuclear triad if you’re afraid to use it?”
Trump made the media rounds Sunday, also appearing on Fox News and repeating that “it’s really good if we get along with other countries knowing that we want to do well against them”.
“If he has killed reporters, I think that’s bad”, Trump continued on Sunday. Trump said of Romney. “He’s never – it’s never been proven that he’s killed anybody”.
Then again, this is Trump, a man who has proposed closing the Internet, shooting Bowe Bergdahl in the head and killing the families of terrorists. “Has anybody proven that he’s killed reporters and I’m not trying to stick up for anybody”. He also applauded Putin as “a leader, unlike, you know, what we have in this country”. Holding his 2nd Christmas themed rally where he spoke flanked by lighted wreaths & entered & exited the stage to the tune of Christmas classics, Trump assured in that he “would never kill” journalists.
In case anyone doubts Putin’s repressive record, the Committee to Protect Journalists provides a list of the 53 journalists murdered in Russian Federation from 1993 through 2013. He is a strong leader…
“I’ve been saying for months that whenever Trump opens his mouth and says something, I’m going ‘OK, where have I heard this before?”

“We just had a poll today where I’m leading in Iowa”, he said.
