For perspective, films featuring this year’s actor with the best return, Chris Evans, took in $181.80 for every $1 paid him. Denzel Washington: $6.50 for each $1.

AAA Predicts Highest Travel Volume on Record for Holiday Week
The average for gas in OR is up three cents to .32 a gallon heading into Christmas weekend, the cheapest it has been since 2008. On a national level, the number of year-end holiday travelers is expected to top 100 million for the first time on record.

While Depp’s career has been on the rocks for some time, the list of most overpaid actors is a surprising mix of both in-demand and washed-up stars.

He was only able to knock it out in front of the net, and Palmieri snapped the rebound past him for his 14th goal at 12:05. If you missed the Detroit Red Wings’ 4-3 loss against the New Jersey Devils, we’ve got you covered.

Depp has been named Hollywood’s most overpaid actor in 2015 by Forbes – a list Sandler topped for the last two years (he was ineligible this year due to his Netflix deal).

The number-crunchers then examined the estimated production budgets, global box office grosses, and stars’ paydays to come up with a final return-on-investment figure. “It is based mostly on actors” three most up-to-date films previous to Jun. 2015 & doesn’t embody little releases, little roles, or animated films.

Denzel Washington finished second, returning $6.50 for every $1 he earned – even with “The Equalizer” returning $192.3 million on a $55 budget. Those films are “Alice Through the Looking Glass” and “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales”.

Coming in third is Will Ferrell, who probably isn’t laughing over the box office disappointments of “Get Hard“, “Anchorman 2” and “The Campaign”.

Liam Neeson: $7.20 for every $1. Tom Cruise made the list from 2009 to 2011 – though his movies do well, he, like Smith and Pitt, commands a particularly high paycheck.

To compile its list, Forbes used earnings estimates from its Celebrity 100 list.
