Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham Suspends Presidential Campaign
Rubio, speaking with reporters Monday in Rochester, N.H., said Graham is “a good guy… a very amusing guy… we’ll miss his humor”.

Christie has made just six campaign visits to the Palmetto State, by far the fewest of the remaining GOP presidential candidates, and he has just one operative working there, though the campaign declined to name the staffer for a story in Politico.
“I believe we have made enormous progress in this effort, ” Graham added.
Graham commanded strong loyalty within his home state’s Republican Party, helping him secure the endorsements of many prominent party leaders.
As former State Republican Chairman Van Hipp put it, “The scramble here is now on for Sen”.
“At this point, I have not decided whom I will support”.
Virtually every Republican candidate has blasted Obama as weak on foreign policy, but Graham was often the only would-be nominee who did not hedge when asked about whether he would deploy more ground troops.
Having mustered little support in the polls, Graham’s exit will not have an immediate effect on the race in the final stretch before the February 1 Iowa caucuses and the February 9 New Hampshire primary. It’s a national security issue, it’s a cultural issue and it’s an economic issue. In the video, Graham expressed optimism that the GOP field would do the right thing in pointing toward a military solution versus ISIS. He was raised that way and he didn’t want to go into debt on the campaign. “Then George W. Bush and (political adviser Karl) Rove resplit the party by corporatizing it and introducing the concept of big-government Republicanism”.
“Hillary, if you get to be president, I’ll help you where I can”, he said.
The reality was his bid never caught on.
Graham campaigned in New Hampshire with longtime ally Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., who told audiences that Graham had “more qualifications than all of the others”. That didn’t happen, despite spending more than 50 days in the Granite State, more than any other Republican in the race. In most polls, he struggled to reach 1 percent.
The Democratic National Committee also noted Graham’s exit. As of this fall, he had raised about $7.8 million.
Graham has been a vocal critic of Trump, earning insults from the billionaire NY real estate mogul and reality TV star who, in one retaliatory moment, gave out Graham’s cellphone number. The candidate never appeared on stage during any of the debates with higher polling candidates and instead was reduced to the “undercard” debates with lower-tier candidates. “I’m sorry he has dropped out, that’s a personal decision”. In this vein, Graham also blasted Donald Trump and Ted Cruz incessantly.
He’s picked up such a small level of support in the presidential race, South Carolina Republican Sen.

Amen. That’s the Lindsey Graham we’ll miss.
