Donald Trump got viciously personal in his attacks on Hillary Clinton
A Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll released Friday showed Bush in fifth place at 10% among likely Republican voters. Among blue-collar Republicans, who have formed the core of Trump’s support, the polls were about the same regardless of method.

Arun Jaitley who made an appearance at a cricket match on Saturday, might have a tough time on Sunday. Instead, it would have sounded democratic had the mother and son duo told newspersons that they had faith in the judicial system and were duty-bound to respect its decision.

Guess who has mocked Hillary Clinton for going to the loo?
His comments about Clinton were not the first time he has veered into vulgarity during the campaign. Polls show the 69-year-old New Yorker remains the frontrunner for the Republican nomination.

Former Defence Minister A K Antony stood surety for Ms Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Vadra Gandhi for Mr Rahul Gandhi.

At least 11 migrants dead in sinking off Greece
The UNHCR listed the total number of Greek Aegean drowning deaths by Tuesday at 217, with another 126 people listed as missing . Refugees settled down about three weeks ago near Idomeni as Macedonian authorities refused to let them pass through the border.

As news channels exploded with breaking news, India’s seasoned political analyst Mohan Guruswamy cryptically remarked, “Six minutes of fame to a world of defame for BJP”. “We will give a determined fight based on certain values, certain ideas and certain ideals, which nobody can take away from the party”, Manmohan Singh said.

“They are targeting us and making full use of the state agencies”. Rahul is also a grandson of slain Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

“I and Congress will not bend”. We will continue to expose the misdeeds of the Modi Government. “What happened now?” He was referring to earlier reports that said the Congress leaders were considering going to jail in the hope that it would win them public sympathy.

The legal battle turned into a political showdown as the Congress cried vendetta, saying petitioner Subramanian Swamy was acting only at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi while the ruling BJP denied any role of the government in the case and wondered “why the Congress was feeling threatened if it had not done any wrong in the National Herald affairs”.

Swamy, who has become a sort of bete-noire for the Gandhi family, claimed that he had enough documents and evidence to secure a conviction. The common people know that this is being done only to harass and humiliate the Congress party just as they did during the Bofors case. The next court date in the case was set for February 20, when the court is expected to start hearing Swamy’s evidence before possibly filing charges.

“I will win this case in 2016”. Nonetheless, given the confidence of Congress workers seen nationwide on television channels, the chances are high that a similar scenario could be repeated two months down the line.

For the present, however, the Congress is drawing comfort from the BJP also being on the defensive.

Referring to the status of assets, the Congress leader clarified that these were and will continue to remain in the name of AJL only although some shareholders wanted these to be liquidated to make up for the losses and outstanding payments. While the Congress has not yet raised this issue in Parliament, party leaders believe the allegations against Jaitley will take the heat off the Congress. “Corruption is yours. BJP has nothing to do with all this”, he told the media.
