Clinton, Trump war of words gets hot
And in a sign of the escalating battle between the two party front-runners, her campaign was forced to engage with Trump on Tuesday after he called Clinton’s bathroom break during Saturday’s Democratic debate “disgusting” and said she was “schlonged” in the 2008 race for the Democratic nomination, using a vulgar Yiddish term to describe her loss to now-President Barack Obama.

“We are not responding to Trump but everyone who understands the humiliation this degrading language inflicts on all women should”, Clinton communications director Jen Palmieri tweeted.
“I think we’re discussing the comment, and whether it’s appropriate for someone who is running for leader of the free world to make comments about a woman going to the restroom”, Lemon said. Trump stated Monday. the rationale for Clinton’s temporary absence was too “disgusting” to speak about.
“If you go on Arabic television as we have, and you look at what is being blasted out, with video of Mr Trump being translated into Arabic – ‘No Muslims coming to the United States, ‘ other kinds of derogatory, defamatory statements – it is playing into the hands of the violent jihadists”, she said. Trump, who may not go to the bathroom, can’t stand the thought of a woman’s having a bodily function.
Donald Trump went on the offensive in a series of tweets Tuesday, remaining resolute that his use of the word “schlonged” in reference to Hillary Clinton “is not vulgar”.
Last month, the billionaire real estate tycoon proposed banning Muslims from entering the U.S., drawing widespread condemnation both domestically and internationally.
Her spokesman, Brian Fallon said Monday: “Hillary Clinton will not be apologizing to Donald Trump for correctly pointing out how his hateful rhetoric only helps ISIS recruit more terrorists”.
Clinton camp’s blunt response was “Hell no-she won’t apologize”.
For Clinton, Trump’s attacks have the potential benefit of putting her in a position from which she has tended to have political success.
It was was not the first time Mr Trump has been accused of making sexist comments in the campaign.
After the comment was panned, Trump told NBC’s “Today” show that he wanted an apology.
Trump and his campaign refused to clarify the remarks after he made them Monday night in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

There was no evidence to back the claim, and a spokeswoman later said “she didn’t have a particular video in mind”. “Because that is not who we are as Americans”.
