‘Real Housewives’ star due to be released from prison
Husband-and-wife stars of the popular reality TV show “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” Teresa Giudice, 41, and her husband, Giuseppe “Joe” Giudice, 43, originally pleaded not guilty to the charges a year ago.

Teresa Giudice is counting down the hours until she gets home to her family.
She will be freed from prison from the Danbury Federal Correctional Institute, which is in CT, after serving time for bankruptcy fraud for the past 15 months.
It seems that there will be a gap in time between being released, and the day Joe Giudice has to go to prison for his part of the sentence.
Months ago, we learned that Teresa would be released in time for the holidays, and now it looks like prison officials will keep their promise (without much time to spare), as several sources are reporting that she’ll be a free woman again on December 23.
Speaking with NorthJersey.com, Teresa’s attorney, James Leonard Jr., talked about the mother of four’s release and revealed some details about the star’s upcoming home confinement period. Leonard also said that his client is in good spirits and is looking forward to spending the holidays with her family. When asked by Andy Cohen if Joe Giudice got deported after his prison stay, would she follow him back to Italy, she said yes, that she would not separate her family, especially after they had been separated by prisons stays. The lawyer added: “She’s going to go straight home”.

Namely, she’s concerned about the paparazzi that are sure to be lurking outside of Danbury Correctional Facility in anticipation of her release. The couple’s sentences were staggered so their kids would have a parent at home for them. She is reportedly allowed to work, take care of any business or medical needs, through February, at which point she will begin a supervised release that will last two years.
