Calling Kirti Azad as a “hero” for taking on Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over the alleged irregularities in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) scam, BJP leader Shatrughan Sinha on Wednesday targeted his own party and said the party with a difference has become a “party with differences”.
December 23, 2015As for FM, issue shud be fought politically not legally. Avoid knee jerk reaction, coercive action against friend who is fighting against corruption.
In a collection of tweets he stated, “Have typically quoted Newton’s third Law”. Feel that untimely action cud boomerang. “Sadly, party with a difference has become Party with Differences”, he added.
Shatrughan Sinha today said that he should pay heed to PM Modi’s advise by following the example set by L K Advani.
On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said that Mr Jaitley would come out “with flying colours” in the Delhi cricket body controversy much like Mr Advani had emerged unscathed from Hawala charges in the 1990s.
Jaitley had filed both civil and criminal defamation cases against Kejriwal and five other AAP leaders for allegedly defaming him and sought Rs 10 crore in damages and their prosecution for offences that entails a punishment of upto two years in jail.
