Quentin Tarantino gets star on Hollywood Walk of Fame
One of the most common complaints about Quentin Tarantino’s 2009 alternate-Nazi fantasy Inglourious Basterds is that the entire movie isn’t more like the opening scene.

Tarantino’s new film, “The Hateful Eight”, opens in US theaters on January 1, 2016. In a multi-screen era, “The Hateful Eight” is an invitation to a full meal of Movie Night. But there’s also a lot more that it does better than his most recent works and some new ideas that make it more than just another hit; it’s one of his best movies.
“One of the things I wanted to do before Pulp Fiction to some degree or another…one of the outside projects that I considered doing was doing a Luke Cage movie”, Tarantino told Nerdist. Avary had been a co-worker of Tarantino at the now-defunct South Bay video store Video Archives. As he remembered it “the night people took over”, scaring the eight-year-old Tarantino. And an actor like Kurt Russell knows that he’s going to have plenty of that mess all over him in the making of the film, without spoiling whether it comes from inside his character or inside someone else’s.
Tarantino: The movie that plays in most theaters and most malls and stuff, artistically, everything, it’s the exact same movie.
This isn’t the first time that Hateful Eight has leaked.
The Hateful Eight was downloaded over 100,000 by Sunday and is likely closer to 220,000 now. “I start getting terrified. I have no problem with the violence, I’ve never had an issue with it. I just understand the difference between real life and motion pictures”. While one might be suspicious about a western set during a blizzard in post-Civil War Wyoming being viable on Broadway, Tarantino constructed the film, at least in one of its forms, very much like a play, complete with an overture and intermission. But don’t think Tarantino is changing on us.
Jackson added there aren’t many people in the business who “still look at film-making the way Quentin does and the purity of what it is and what it should be”. But if you go see the roadshow version, if you go to that, you’re mine.

“That’s really cool, I must have become a big shot”, he joked during his speech.
