Harrison Ford Was Paid Over 50x More Than ‘Star Wars’ Co-Stars

Co-stars Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac would have gotten higher salaries than the two 23-year-old actors, based on their previous experience in the business.
When the numbers first were coming in, it appeared that The Force Awakens had also fallen short on the grand total worldwide opening box office record, but it has since slipped past Jurassic World’s mark on that one as well.
Younger stars John Boyega and Daisy Ridley got somewhere in the low six figures ($100K-$300K) because they’re newbies with fewer credits. The movie has-been an unqualified success for Lucasfilm parent Walt Disney Co., & sets the franchise up so well in that some people have stated George Lucas sold too low. And Variety reports that their salaries are expected to increase with each of the subsequent films.
Thinking about the casting in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens, there was nothing more exciting than knowing that the original cast members from the first Star Wars movie, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fischer.

None of these reported salaries factor in back-end bonuses, which includes a percentage of the box office revenue the stars will net once The Force Awakens hits the $1 billion mark. For example, Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan had offers in the six-figure range for Fifty Shades of Grey but have renegotiated multi-million-dollar deals for the sequels.
