Chelsea can climb the table under Guus Hiddink, says Thibaut Courtois

‘I think all of us are in this position – it’s not one or two individuals and that’s me speaking honestly, ‘ said Terry.
Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has said quality is still there in the side who were English Premier League champions a year ago but are presently 15th on the points table.
“He’s an experienced professional who’s already worked at the club, knows the people here, knows the mentality, so I expect that we’ll be able to get good results with him”, the Blues midfielder told Serbian publication Mondo. The only problem is that he has a contract in Montreal.
“The first-half was very good for us, we played really well”.
“Mathematically it is possible”, a relaxed Hiddink, who proved highly popular in 2009 when he took over from sacked Brazilian Luis Felipe Scolari, told reporters at a news conference at the club’s training base.
“It’s a pretty bad indictment on the players if they actually go and perform a lot, lot better than they have done recently just ’cause Jose’s lost his job”, Allardyce said.
“They will support us through the hard period and when we come out on top sooner or later”.
Holland said the players had competed well, especially in the first half, on Saturday when goals from Branislav Ivanovic (5 min), Pedro (13) and Oscar, from the penlty spot (50) underlined their supremacy before Fabio Borini clawed one back for the visitors in the 53rd minute.
The ex-Russia manager could help Chelsea chase Mourinho’s successor, with the likes of Pep Guardiola, Diego Simeone and Antonio Conte reportedly in the frame.
After leaving PSV and joining Fenerbahce in 1990, he returned to the club in 2002 and won three more league titles in a four-year spell. We’re deeper in the mire from having played 17 games and got 12 points.
The next game against Watford next weekend will see the start of Guus Hiddink’s second spell in charge.

“He has got a real aura about him as well – he has a lot of presence and he is going to be great for that dressing room”.
