How could we keep our Christmas traditions if I had the flu? I would really like micro-car tracks but you can’t buy them in the shops anymore so maybe Santa has them?
When I was too young to remember, she had one Baileys too many and toppled into the Christmas tree taking it down with her – a legendary story which comes up every year with the same hilarity, and I will ensure it passes from generation to generation. At midnight, my wife and I enjoyed a glass of red wine in the glow of our small Christmas tree as the children slept peacefully beside us.
I would get some sort of doll or Barbie doll and some board games. I remember blubbering like a baby at the beauty and simplicity of the story and every Christmas I try and watch it and every year I blubber like a baby. Getting presents can also help if you are scared of something. They played from the time they got on the Jersey Central to the ferry in Jersey City. We often overlap with other aunts and uncles and cousins so we can swap Christmas Eve stories while the kids compare loot, and everyone has a hug for Grandma. Or a real life bunny!

Growing up we had TWO Christmas trees. Jews observe Hanukkah and Muslims mark the end of Ramadan, and Christians observe things like St. Nicholas Day, Advent and Christmas. Bull and I always finished the tree with tinsel.
Surbhi Joyti: I used to wait for Christmas special shows on cartoon channels that would exclusively air during this time of the year. For me, decorating our Christmas tree and our house were perhaps even better than Christmas morning.

According to my unofficial Facebook poll, Chinese food on Christmas Day may have started in Jewish communities, but has since been embraced by others who simply see the merit in opting out of cooking what could be one of half a dozen big traditional dinners your family could have over the course of the season. This year on Christmas, I will be spending time with my close ones, dining out with them and spending some quality time.
